70 Years of Stauntons Pharmacy Castlebar

To celebrate 70 years of Stauntons Pharmacy Main St. Castlebar,we invited our customers to join us in-store on March 10th for a day of giveaways, exclusive offers and celebrations!

We were joined by Midwest Radio, some of our favourite brands had tastings, samples and discounts and there were lots of chances to win.

Stauntons Pharmacy was opened by Jack and Ita Staunton on the 7th March 1952, in Castlebar Co. Mayo and is now a third-generation family business. Stauntons are proud to employ at team of 65, with experienced, knowledgeable and highly trained staff members in all our locations.

We currently have six different business units which are all located in Castlebar town - four Pharmacies, a Health Food shop and a Daybreak convenience store. Our newest Pharmacy Bridge Street Pharmacy opened at the end of 2022.

Our modern pharmacies provide a full range of services including prescription dispensing, vaccinations, blood pressure monitoring, health information and advice. Stauntons Pharmacy Main St. is the exclusive Mayo stockist of luxury cosmetic brands Estee Lauder and Clinique and also carry a wide selection of customer favourites like Lancôme, Elizabeth Arden, Clarins and Chanel. We also have a Fujifilm photo printing service, wide selection of vitamins and supplements and carry an extensive range of all the pharmacy essentials.

We are delighted to be celebrating this milestone with our loyal customers and look forward to continuing to providing a valuable service to Castlebar and the wider Mayo community for many years to come.
